Here is Keiko’s weekly news about the Japanese class at the Modern Language School:
We continued learning about how to do shopping. We engaged in learning about the exciting theme of quantifiers in Japanese – that is, we learnt about how Japanese people count nouns. We put this in use as we practiced how one counts items in a sweetshop!
All went fine, except that students looked at me with wondering eyes when I said the word ‘shuu-kureemu’ – guess what, it means cream puff…
